Currently, there are several organizations that collect limited venture data, but often that data remains incomplete, not validated, or in a format that limits its use. Through Venture Upstart, the MVCA will coordinate the research activities to develop a clear and useful research program addressing a number of the market's current needs. The research produced by this effort will go towards answering particular questions in our industry regarding the health of Michigan's venture capital environment.
